The Dytran model 2013D is an IEPE microphone with an ultra high-sensitivity of 2,000 mV/psi, designed to measure high-intensity sound pressure levels of up to 179 dB, while reliably operating in temperatures up to +225°F (+107°C).

Design of the model 2013D utilizes a piezoceramic crystal sensing element operating in compression mode to generate an output signal in response to sound pressure acting on the 0.618-inch diameter diaphragm. The sensor features a lightweight titanium housing, 10-32 axial connector and hollow clamp nut for mounting. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high-humidity and dirty environments.
