The Dytran 1051V series is a family of IEPE force sensors designed to measure dynamic forces from 10 to 5,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Available in six models with available sensitivities from 1 to 500 mV/lbf, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 500 lbs full scale in tension mode. As IEPE sensors, the 1051V series features built-in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.

Design of the 1051V series features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 28 grams. Units utilize a 10-32 radial connector and a series of 1/4-28 tapped holes located at both the top and bottom of the sensor housing, for ease of mounting.
