The Dytran model 3225F2 is an ultra-miniature teardrop low-profile IEPE accelerometer with a sensitivity of 10 mV/g, designed to adhesively mount in spaces typically inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor has an overall height of 0.20 inches and weighs just 1.0 gram.

Featuring a quartz shear sensing element in a lightweight aluminum housing, the model 3225F2 utilizes a specially designed 3-56 coaxial connector, mating with a replaceable coaxial cable and terminating to a 10-32 jack. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high-humidity and dirty environments, as well as base isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.

The model 3225F2 is a member of the Dytran 3225F series of IEPE accelerometers. All units within the series have a sensitivity of 10 mV/g and adhesive mounting capabilities. They differ only in terms of their type of connector, environmental seal and electrical isolation.
