The Dytran model 3225E1 is an ultra-miniature teardrop low-profile charge mode accelerometer with a sensitivity of 1.8 pC/g, designed to adhesively mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor features a height of 0.15 inches and an overall weight of just 0.6 grams.

The sensors are designed to reliably operate in high temperatures up to +350°F (+177°C) and feature a ceramic shear sensing element in a lightweight laser welded titanium housing, with a three-foot integral cable terminating to a 10-32 jack. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high-humidity and dirty environments.

The model 3225E1 is a member of the Dytran 3225E series of charge mode accelerometers. All units within the series have a sensitivity of 1.8 pC/g and adhesive mounting capabilities. They differ only in terms of their type of connector, environmental seal and electrical isolation.

Model 3225E1 is very similar to the model 3225E3, which differs only with regards to its type of polarity. The model 3225E1 features negative polarity, while the model 3225E3 is offered with positive polarity.
