The Dytran 3191A series is a family of IEPE accelerometers with built-in Faraday shield for electrostatic noise immunity, excellent low-frequency response of 0.08 Hz and the capability to resolve vibrations as low as 0.000001 g’s RMS.

Available in two models with sensitivity of 5 V/g or 10 V/g, design of the model 3191A series incorporates an annular shear ceramic sensing element, packaged in a highly rugged stainless steel housing with a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 axial connector and 1/4-28 mounting hole. The series is designed to be directly compatible with the Dytran model 6194 Immersion Proof™ sealing boot. When used together, sensors remain full functional in an IP65 environment. The sensors are also hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high-humidity and dirty environments and case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
