The Dytran model 3176B is a rugged, cost-effective IEPE accelerometer with a sensitivity of 100 mV/g and excellent low-frequency response of 0.3 Hz.

Design of the model 3176B incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element, packaged in a stainless steel housing with a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 axial connector and 10-32 stud mounting capabilities. The sensor is hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high-humidity and dirty environments and internally case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.

Model 3176B is part of the 3176B series of accelerometers, which differs only in terms of their type of mounting configuration. Model 3176B features a 10-32 stud mount, while the model 3176B1 incorporates a 1/4-28 stud mount.
