The Dytran 3166B Series is a family of low-noise IEPE accelerometers, featuring a thru-hole mount and radial 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector. This unique configuration allows the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of installation.

Available in three different models, with sensitivities from 10 mV/g to 500 mV/g, design of the 3166B series incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element packaged in a highly rugged stainless steel housing. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high-humidity and dirty environments and are internally case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.

This series is also directly compatible with the Dytran model 6194 Immersion Proof™ sealing boot (sold separately). When used together, sensors remain fully functional in an IP65 environment.
